 Introduction of traveling in Spring

Iran is known for one the rarest countries in which four distinct seasons can be seen at the same time. Since it is surrounded by world’s largest inland body of water and dense forests in north, Mediterranean sea in south, cold mountain ranges in west and world’s hottest zone in east, it boasts a variety of climates and it is big difference in weather conditions from one region to another.

This kind of features that amazingly let people to ski in deep snow after playing water sports just by one hour trip, make Iran a dream destination for tourists. No matter from which country the tourists are, they would definitely enjoy visiting Iran in each season, even those who are hard to please. Given these points, Iran lasts a proper choice to visit in every time of the year. Since it is apparently important for tourists to become aware of weather conditions that they would be faced, we have tried to show Iran conditions as a guidance in spring as below:

Travel in Spring

Spring stretches from the second half of march to June. In this season trees and flowers start to be in bloom, filling the air with fantastic fragrance. Regarding nature generosity, it is the most colorful time to visit the sights of Iran.

Temperatures in Spring

The climate diversity causes the huge difference between temperature ranges in disparate zones. So, it could be divided to four parts:
North of Iran: temperature range is almost between 5 to 28 degrees Celsius. It is rainy most of the days. Caspian sea water is not safe due to weather conditions.
East of Iran: the lowest temperature is 3 in march and the highest is 33 in June. It is a good period of time to visit east which consist of some desert.
West of Iran: temperature ranges is between 0 to 29 degrees Celsius but it does not drop below freezing. It could be snowy in march, considering the presence of high mountains.
South of Iran: almost known as the hottest zone in Iran, the temperature ranges is between 12 to 45 degrees Celsius. Also, Persian gulf offers a variety of water sports for tourists.

Precipitation in Spring of Iran

The average precipitation in north is almost 70 mm which is the most in comparison with other zones. With regards to unpredictable weather in spring, it could be changed and sometimes even south could be a rival for north. As a result, spring is considered as a rainy season in each region.

Wear

Due to unforeseeable weather conditions and big differences from regions climate, it is better to pack clothes that are suitable for sunny, chilly and also rainy weather. Be sure the umbrella and sweaters are packed.

Cost of travel to Iran in Spring

Iranian traditional holiday, Norouz, starts in the beginning of spring. Therefore, it is more crowded and airfare and hotels tend to cost more. Generally speaking, Iran is well known for its cheapness thanks to exchange rates
