Iran is known for one the rarest countries in which four distinct seasons can be seen at the same time. Since it is surrounded by world’s largest inland body of water and dense forests in north, Mediterranean Sea in south, cold mountain ranges in west and world’s hottest zone in east, it boasts a variety of climates and it is big difference in weather conditions from one region to another. This kind of features that amazingly let people to ski in deep snow after playing water sports just by one hour trip, make Iran a dream destination for tourists.

No matter from which country the tourists are, they would definitely enjoy visiting Iran in each season, even those who are hard to please. Given these points, Iran lasts a proper choice to visit in every time of the year. Since it is apparently important for tourists to become aware of weather conditions that they would be faced, we have tried to show Iran conditions as a guidance in summer as below:

Travel in Iran summer

Summer in Iran is a period from almost end of June to September. The weather is almost sunny. It is possible to experience the hottest zone in the world at 70 degrees Celsius in Lut desert! Accordingly, it is good opportunity for those tourists who seek sun and its benefits. Also the northern and southern coastlines are suitable choice for those looking for getting tan and it is best time for watersports. Nonetheless there are still places that have normal temperature, especially in high mountains that offer even grass skiing.

Temperatures in Iran Summer

The climate diversity causes the huge difference between temperature ranges in disparate zones. So, it could be divided to four parts:
North of Iran: temperature range is almost between 18 to 27 degrees Celsius. It is sunny and humid most of the days. It is a proper time for watersports in Caspian Sea and getting tan in coastline.
East of Iran: the lowest temperature is 17 in June and the highest is 35 in September. Since it comprises some desert, you are well advised not to set east of Iran as your destination in summer.
West of Iran: temperature ranges is between 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. It is the best time to travel to west of Iran because rest of the year it might be chilly and diminish its attraction.
South of Iran: With sunny and extremely sultry weather, the temperature ranges is between 26 to 46 degrees Celsius. The humidity makes you to drink at least 20 glasses of water every day, but the life is still goes on there as beautiful as other seasons.

Precipitation in Summer

The average precipitation in north is almost 50 mm which is the most in comparison with other zones. It is less in west. East and south are considered as arid region in summer.

Wear in Summer

Apparently, it is recommended to pack summer clothes, but having something warmer would be helpful in rainy days.
